Welcome to my blog! Today we will be talking about snacks at Magic Kingdom. Now there are some pretty amazing snacks and the complete list is very extensive so I'm going to share my top 5 favorites with you today.
#1 Popcorn!
Now i know you are thinking "I can get popcorn anywhere" but trust me on this one, there's no popcorn like Disney popcorn! Plus you can find some super fun popcorn buckets at any of the parks and just pay for refills throughout your stay. Each refill is only $2 so for a shareable snack it a great value. But I will add this, a popcorn refill is a snack credit on the Dining Plans but with such a low cost I don't recommend using it, just pay the $2.
#2 Mickey Pretzel
Who doesn't love Mickey - shaped food, especially a warm salty pretzel with cheese sauce! These pretzels are big so my little family will share one as we walk to our next ride or show, it's a great pick-me-up for between meals and it's a snack credit on the Dining Plans (yes, use it for this!). Sometimes you can get lucky and find other variations like stuffed pretzels, my favorite is the cream cheese filled ones!
#3 Dole Whip
The ever famous Dole Whip must make it on this list! Dole Whip is pineapple flavored soft serve non-dairy frozen dessert. There are a few different ways you can enjoy this sweet treat, plain Dole Whip in a cup, swirled with soft serve vanilla ice cream, or as a float with pineapple juice. What a great way to cool off in that Florida heat! Oh yes, this does count a a snack credit on the Dining Plans too.
#4 Mickey Ice Cream Bar
Yep we are going with another frozen treat, the wonderful Mickey Bar is vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and of course in the shape of Mickey! Yes I know you can buy them at the grocery store now, but they just aren't the same. I don't know if it's the atmosphere of the parks, a secret formula they only use in the park or maybe it's just in my head but you must indulge and let the little ones indulge too. They will get messy but take the pictures, soak up their joy, and bring baby wipes with you! I do like to use a snack credit for these as well.
#5 LeFou's Brew and the Giant Cinnamon Roll
I'm giving you a bonus snack in this one, mostly because they both come from Gaston's Tavern and you need to experience both! So like the title says, it's a GIANT cinnamon roll to be shared with 2, 3, or 4 people, it's really huge! And I know you are wondering what in the world is a LeFou's Brew, well it's a nonalcoholic frozen apple juice topped with an all-natural passion fruit-mango foam. This beverage can be ordered in a souvenir stein or goblet if you so choose . Both of these snacks can be used as snack credits on the Dining Plans.
